My Story

Why is meditation important to us and what can we get out of having a regular meditation practice?

In spring 2021, I began my daily meditation practice. 

I noticed many benefits such as my racing thoughts were reduced and I felt calmer and happier in myself. I was less anxious, worried and stressed. I was able to pace myself and be at ease. Life became easier.

During challenging times, I would be busier and if I was not looking after myself, I would slip back into an uncomfortable place.

Nevertheless, I had developed new coping strategies, which included mindful meditation so I was able to look after myself better. I learnt that, when things happen or life gets in the way, meditating could ground me, connect me to my true self, help me discover inner peace and much more.

Hi I’m Chinar Abdulaziz

I am a meditations teacher, author and former counsellor, offering tools to help calm the body and mind, including mindful meditation.

My journey began in 2017 when I started writing Flowers Within® Meditations, which I later published as a book called Flowers Within in 2022. I then trained with the British School of Meditation and gained a diploma in Meditation Teaching. This has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to teach different types of meditations.

I now offer Introduction to Meditation taster sessions for beginners, as well as workshops and courses for all levels, to help you kickstart or keep up with your meditation practice.

My Mission

From the first transformative moment in spring 2021, my journey with meditation has been about more than just self-discovery; it’s been a beacon for others in the maze of life’s challenges. I believe in the profound power of mindfulness to not only calm racing thoughts but to truly connect us with our deepest selves. Life’s whirlwinds may sometimes lead us astray, but with the right tools and strategies—like mindful meditation—we can find our way back to tranquility and inner peace.

Through my offerings, from beginner’s taster sessions to comprehensive workshops, my mission is to guide you towards a life where you can pace yourself, find joy in simplicity, and be unapologetically you.
